The Women of Grace, a non-governmental organisation under the Catholic Apostolate Outreach is set to officially launch its retreat and event centre, Grace Place.
The launching is scheduled to hold on July 9, 2016 at the Catholic Church of Ascension Hall Bodija, Ibadan.
The organisation, whose aim is to transform and empower women in the society, through capacity building, moral and spiritual training in other for them to be through women abound with grace of God.
Women of Grace Apostolates, since inauguration of its Nigeria chapter, has through its outreach programme, enlightened women on their roles in the society and nation-building; it has empowered women in various enterprise and venture and has been in the forefront; pushing for women's spiritual
growth.
The launching is expected to be graced by dignitaries from within and outside the country.The Catholic Bishop of Oyo, His Lordship, Most Rev Dr Emmanuel Badejo, will be the guest speaker at the event. His Lordship is billed to do an exposition on the topic; “Mercy and Grace: Living Life Abundantly.”
During the launch of the “Grace Place, the Women of Grace will also unveil a documentary about the organisation; what they stand for and how the society and nation could be better off.
To this end, the Women of Grace is pleased to invite all within and outside Oyo State and the general public to the official launching of its retreat and capacity building centre, “Grace Place” with a ticket fee of 1000 naira only.
Speaking to CEOAFRICA reporters, Dr Mrs Josephine Igbeka, the facilitator of Women of Grace and Prof Mrs Wuraola Shokunbi, member, used the medium to call on well-meaning Nigerians to sow in to the “Grace Place” project to build for humanity.
