President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire as his Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Mrs. Orelope-Adefulire, who served as Lagos State Deputy-Governor of in the administration of Babatunde Fashola, according to a statement by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, is an accomplished politician with many years of experience in public service. She has also served as commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos State.
