
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has procured two intubatable manikins for Kubwa General Hospital in Abuja.
The medical facility, which could be used for simulation exercise during trainings is expected to be handed over to the medical director of the hospital and used by JICA training ex-participants to disseminate lessons and knowledge acquired in Japan to colleagues in their respective hospitals and peripheral health centres.
It should be recalled that the agency, which is in partnership with the Nigerian government has been supporting the country in the education, health, among other sectors.
Nigeria, JICA has dispatched about 100 trainees for sponsored training in Japan and third world countries. Annually, from all JICA oversea offices, about 11,000 trainees participate in training courses in Japan.
