Voting for the 'wildcard' MTV European Music Awards (EMA) closes on Monday.

Wizkid is among those nominated for the 'wildcard' MTV European Music Awards (EMA). Other African acts who received nods include KO from South Africa, Ghanaian Stonebwoy, Cassper Nyovest of South Africa, and DJ Arafat from Cote d'Ivoire.

MTV has given music lovers across the continent the power to tweet and vote the fifth 'wildcat' nominee from the list with organisers embracing fans participation in the selection.

Nigerian stars Yemi Alade and Davido will battle it out with AKA (South Africa), and Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania).
