Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi has confirmed his readiness to chair the public unveiling of Western Post Newspaper, after one and a half years of publishing the regional newspaper.

The programme with the theme: ‘The Dwindling Oil Revenue: A Case for Regional Integration,’ would hold on Tuesday in Ibadan.

The Director-General of the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria, Mr Dipo Famakinwa, would present the Lead Paper on the theme, while Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Dr Tunji Olaopa, and Centre Director, Centre for International Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS), Professor Anthony Kila, are among the Discussants.

Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, and Chairman, THISDAY Group and Arise TV, Mr Nduka Obaigbena, would be the Special Guests of Honour, while Senate President Bukola Saraki, Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Honourable Suleiman Lasun Yusuf, and other four Governors in the South-west geo-political zones namely- Dr Olusegun Mimiko (Ondo), Senator Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Mr Akinwunmi Ambode (Lagos) and Mr Ayodele Fayose (Ekiti) are slated as Guests of Honour.

Meanwhile, his Royal Majesty, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, would be the Royal Father of the Day.
