Enterprising Nigerian youths have been called upon to exploit the opportunities offered by the anti-corruption stance of the new Muhammadu Buhari administration to harness their potentials.

In an interview ahead of the forthcoming Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, CWEIC forum holding in Malta, Joseph Ambakederimo, CEO of Puffa Nigeria Limited said Nigerian youths now have the opportunity to compete with their contemporaries abroad with the new ease of doing business in the country.

Specifically, he called upon those on the top of their businesses to take opportunity of the Commonwealth investment forum which is holding on the sidelines of the forthcoming meeting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government, CHOGM in Malta in November.

“Our youths especially now have a chance to play on the global stage with the advent of the new regime with its mantra of transparency in the affairs of government.

“Youths who had in the past been hindered should brace up and come and play on the global stage and for me, the Commonwealth Investment forum is one stage where our youths can reach out to their contemporaries and extend their reach,” Mr. Ambakederimo, who is the CWEIC partner for Nigeria for the conference, said.

The forum convenes Heads of Government, senior ministers, government delegates and the private sector in one place to discuss business opportunities and policy making.

The forum is expected to be attended by the heads of government, 1,200 business leaders and ministers from across the Commonwealth
