South Africa Reiterates Solidarity For Saharawi People

South African Ambassador in Algeria and the Saharawi Republic (SADR), Mr. Dennis Thokozani Dolmo reiterated Thursday, before Saharawi Cadres currently meeting in Boumerdes, his country's strong support to the struggle of the Saharawi people for freedom and independence.

In a lecture under the title "South Africa's experience of fight against Apartheid system", the diplomat made it clear that Africa "will never feel free as long as the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic is occupied."

Mr. Dolmo talked about the methods used by Apartheid regime against the people of South Africa, including of which racial discrimination and plundering the natural resources.

In front of such practices, added the ambassador, the South African people could stood firm by promoting and strengthening national cohesion and renouncing tribal and ethnic differences.

Calling on the Saharawi people to continue the fight against Moroccan occupation by all means, highlighting that they have to believe in freedom and the need to decide their own future.

He also called for more pressure on powerful countries so to find a solution to the question of Western Sahara.
