Two lovers were involved in a mid-night, ghastly accident yesterday at the ever-busy trailer park on Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation road, Ejigbo, Lagos.

An eyewitness said that the lovebirds were kissing when the accident happened.

As at the time CeoAfrica got to the scene, the “Jeep”, which was said to have been damaged beyond repairs, had been towed away from the scene of the accident.

A “bike-man” who witnessed the incidence while working at mid-night, said he had noticed the driver of the four-wheel vehicle romancing a lady while driving. “He suddenly lost control of the car and hit a stationary truck. The vehicle was badly damaged, indeed, it folded.”

He further said the accident victims, whom he suspected were going clubbing, were four in number, adding that they were badly injured and had to be rushed to a nearby hospital in an ambulance, hours later.

Another eyewitness, who spoke to our reporter, doubted if the victims were still alive, “ based on the level at which the vehicle had been damaged.”
