In less than thirty five hours to the general election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Teslim Kolawole Folarin has passionately appealed to the people of the state to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan and other PDP candidates on Saturday. He made this appeal when he visited Oyo and Ona Ora area of Ibadan to round off his campaign for the elections. He listed various landmark achievements of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan that must be sustained by the renewal of the mandate given to the President.

He said “President Jonathan has achieved so much in all sectors. In the transport sector; our trains are back on track; airports have been upgraded up to standard. Economically, Nigeria is now the biggest economy in Africa. Other economic indices have spoken for the president. The President has achieved so much in the agricultural sector. Our hospitals are functional and in good shape,and many more. For us to sustain these good works, we must vote for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.”

The PDP gubernatorial candidate also visited the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, who having given his royal blessings commended the Peoples Democratic Party for their peaceful campaign all through describing their attitude to political campaign as mature and civilised. He pleaded with party members as well as supporters to ensure peace before, during and after elections.

The PDP gubernatorial candidate also stopped at various communities around Ona Ora  and its environs making the people to see reasons why President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is the best interest of the good  people of Oyo state. He told the people that “28^th March is a day set aside to rededicate our commitment to the transformation agenda for consolidation”. He urged the residence of the area to come out enmass and vote for all the PDP candidates, assuring them that victory is sure already as the PDP remains the party to beat.
