Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin, has vowed not to politicise socioeconomic issues affecting the people of the state.

He disclosed this while fielding questions from journalists at his Oluyole residence, in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

He lashed successive governments for politicising the well-being of the people, which, according to him, had degenerated.

Folarin, therefore, called on the people of the state to entrust their votes to him in order to achieve the requisite economic growth for the people to live a fulfilled life. “I will make sure that our taps run water within the shortest possible time in office. I have watched people scouting for water in their various localities during my campaign rallies,” he said.

The gubernatorial candidate also promised to give priority to health sector.

He said the present government had done little to ensure quality health delivery in the state.

Folarin noted that “medical personnel and facilities are grossly inadequate and this is disastrous to the well-being of our people. Our health sector has been managed at the convenience of the government than for the good of the people.
