An Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) suspected to have been masterminded by suicide bomber hit Elkanemi roundabout of Monday Market in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.

There were historic series of explosions that took place at the roundabout last year where many lives were lost with others sustained various degrees of injuries.

Last Saturday, the explosions that rocked different parts of Maiduguri claimed over 100 lives with many still recuperating at various hospital as a result of burnt injuries they sustained in the attacks.

The fresh Monday Market explosion took place at about 4:35pm on Tuesday, in which many people were feared dead.
