The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Campaign Organisation for Anambra State Elections has called on APGA members to intensify their campaign activities, using the window created by the shift in election dates to cover remaining grounds if any, in order to ensure total and resounding victory for the party in the elections.
The Director General of APGA Campaign Organisation in Anambra State, Senator Alphonsus Ubanesse Igbeke, while urging those condemning the postponement of the elections to reflect on what would have been the fate of over 34 per cent of the total 68 million registered voters that would have been disenfranchised had INEC not shifted the polls, charged candidates of the APGA in the March general elections to capitalise on the shift of the polls to further consolidate their popularity and winning streaks.
Sen. Igbeke opined that the uncommon achievements recorded by Governor Willie Obiano’s administration in less than one year in office were enough to guarantee landslide victory for the party and affirmed that the candidates fielded by the party were the best for the elections.
