Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have commenced the sorting and counting of votes at polling units across Osun State following the conclusion of voting in Saturday’s governorship election.

The process involves sorting the ballot papers and counting the votes cast for the various governorship candidates.

The results are expected to be recorded on the prescribed result sheets, announced at the respective polling units and subsequently transmitted in accordance with electoral guidelines.
