The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released 279 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results that were previously withheld for further investigation.
The Board disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, noting that the development follows ongoing investigations into suspected examination malpractice during the 2025 UTME exercise.
According to JAMB, while some results were released after investigations revealed no prima facie evidence against the affected candidates, others were cancelled where malpractice was confirmed.
The examination body explained that results from centres flagged for suspicious activities by its live monitoring teams, or those linked to adverse reports, would remain withheld pending the conclusion of investigations.
JAMB added that any candidate found culpable after the review process would have their result cancelled.
The Board advised candidates whose results are yet to be released to check their status by sending “UTMERESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
JAMB reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity and credibility of the UTME examination process.
