The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock test conducted on March 28.
In a statement issued by its Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, the board directed candidates to check their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used during registration.
According to the board, a total of 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination, while 152,586 successfully participated in the exercise. The test was conducted across 989 accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
JAMB disclosed that more than 20 centres encountered technical challenges during the exercise and have subsequently been delisted.
The board also cautioned candidates against engaging with individuals or groups claiming the ability to manipulate or inflate UTME scores, describing such claims as fraudulent and criminal. It warned that any candidate found involved in such activities risks having their registration cancelled or their results withdrawn.
JAMB further reminded candidates that the main UTME examination is scheduled to commence on April 16, 2026.
