Chairman, Policy Manifesto Committee of the African Democratic Congress, John Odigie-Oyegun, says the 2027 general elections will be between the people and their oppressors.
Oyegun made this statement on Friday while fielding questions in an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’.
He said with the ADC, it will not be business as usual, stressing that everyone wants change.
The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, further stated that there is a major sacrifice being made by every stratum of society within the ADC.
“This time, we have a big message, a totally different message to coin. We have to start with the apology.
“Sorry we have disappointed you repeatedly. It’s not as if it’s just the last goal.
“With the wave of defections into the APC, we are praying, as a matter of fact, we will bring out brass bands if the rest also join the APC.
“So the struggle for the future becomes very clear, designing the kind of campaign that is going to come in the future, that is the people versus their oppressors made up of so many governors and others,” he said.
