The National Executive of the Enugwu Inyi Autonomous Community (EACU) has extended heartfelt condolences to the Ilobanafor family following the passing of their revered patriarch, Ogbuefi Clement Nwokeagbaoso Iloabanafor, the Iloabanafor of Ozegu, Enugwu-Inyi.

In a condolence message dated December 5, 2025, the leadership of EACU described the late nonagenarian as a symbol of humility, a custodian of cultural values, and a man whose contributions significantly strengthened the growth and unity of the community.

Speaking through the statement jointly signed by Sir Emeka Onyebuchi, President General of EACU, and Hon. Agozie Collins Onwu, National Secretary, the community noted that Ogbuefi Iloabanafor’s life of service and moral uprightness left an imprint that will be remembered for generations.

“May his legacy of humility and invaluable contributions to the growth of our community forever be remembered,” the statement read.

The EACU leadership also extended special prayers to Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, Managing Director of CEOAFRICA, and the entire Ilobanafor dynasty, asking God to grant them the strength to bear the “irreparable loss”.

“We pray that Almighty God grants Prince Cletus Iloabanafor and the entire family the strength to bear this loss,” the message added.

The community concluded by praying for the peaceful repose of the late patriarch, describing his transition at 93 as the passing of a cultural pillar whose footprints remain deeply etched in the heart of Enugwu-Inyi.
