NEC of ACPN endorses current executive during conference in Awka

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) has formally endorsed the current executive board during its 44th Annual Scientific National Conference, held in Awka, Anambra State.

The endorsement, a testament to the leadership's effective governance and vision, took place in the presence of members and stakeholders.

During the conference, which centered on the theme "Technology Integration and Personalized Care: The Future of Community Pharmacy Practice," the NEC acknowledged the significant strides made by the current executive in promoting the interests and welfare of community pharmacists across Nigeria.

Speaking, Pharm. Ambrose Igwekamma Ezeh, the National Chairman of ACPN, expressed gratitude for the collective support and trust from the NEC and the general membership. “This endorsement reflects the confidence our members have in our leadership. We are committed to advancing the pharmacy profession and improving access to pharmaceutical care for all Nigerians,” Ezeh stated.

The NEC's endorsement was characterized as a pivotal moment for the association, reinforcing the executive's ongoing initiatives to elevate community pharmacy practice through innovative approaches and strategic partnerships. Members commended the leadership for its dedication to addressing key issues such as regulatory challenges, education, and the integration of technology within pharmacy practice.

In a follow-up discussion, the Chairman of the NEC, emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration within the association. “As we work towards achieving our goals, it is crucial that we remain united and focused on our mission. The renewal of our leadership's mandate enables us to continue pushing for reforms that will benefit all pharmacists in Nigeria."

With the endorsement now confirmed, the current executive is poised to implement its agenda with renewed vigor and commitment, ensuring that community pharmacy remains a vital component of Nigeria's healthcare system.
