Nigerians have expressed their views on the confirmation of the immediate past Service Chiefs as non-career ambassadors.

The Senate on Tuesday confirmed the appointment of General Abayomi G. Olonisakin (Rtd), Ekiti; Lt. General Tukur Y. Buratai (Rtd), Borno; Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete E. Ibas (Rtd), Cross River; and Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar (Rtd), Bauchi, following the consideration of the report of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

While some Nigerians commended the action of the Senate, some people berated the confirmation.
