Chrisland University Vice Chancellor celebrates mother, woman of substance, icon of great virtues, High Chief Winifred Awosika at 81

The Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. (Mrs) Chinedum Peace Babalola, has congratulated High Chief Dr. (Mrs) Winifred A. Awosika, OON, the Chancellor and Chairman, Board of Trustees of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State, on her 81st birthday.

The erudite Professor, on Saturday, at the birthday ceremony described High Chief Awosika as a woman of excellence, carrier of great substance and Icon of astounding virtues.

She added that the Chancellor is a lover of education, who would do everything in her capacity to ensure the advancement and enhancement of education in her community and nation.

“The establishment of learning institutions by our Mama is a vivid evidence of who she is. She is indeed a light-bearer, whose gait has been a Model to us all at Chrisland University.

“The Chancellor in her philanthropic gesture has impacted greatly on our generation. And forever we shall be grateful for your exemplary leadership you have shown us.

“On behalf of all members of Chrisland University (Staff and Students), I say congratulations and Happy Birthday to our dear Mummy, teacher, model and leader.

“God has made you Mother of mothers, fathers, children and grandchildren. He has made you mother of many generations born and unborn through your life of impact.

“To God be the glory great things He has done. Keeping you alive to witness 81 years on earth is wonderful.

“May God renew you spiritually and physically. May He grant you more grace and wisdom to continue to continue to live and serve Him.

“None of your fruits and labours will be destroyed.

 “Thank you for your love, care and support always.

“We wish you a prosperous year, long life and sound health.”

High Chief Dr. (Mrs) Winifred A. Awosika, OON, is the founder, Chancellor and Chairman Board of Trustees, Chrisland University.
