Long queues have returned to filling stations in Abuja resulting in gridlock in the affected areas.

It was reported that many filling stations were not dispensing as at Tuesday morning, hence, the few others dispensing were besieged by motorists.

This situation had led to long queues which has in turn affected the free flow of traffic in areas affected.

On Herbert Macaulay Way, Central Business District, a long queue was seen at Conoil filling station that was dispensing as of the time of this report.

However, Total filling station on the same road was not dispensing as of press time but motorists were already on a long queue waiting for it to do so.
