The National Executive Council of the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Senior Staff Association has called on the government at all levels to display purposeful and accountable leadership like their leader and National President, Comrade Quadri Olaleye.

They made this call during the council's meeting yesterday, the 15th of October, 2020, where they praised the National President for turning the association around from where it was five years before.

They recalled that at one time, FOBTOB could barely afford to run but now, under the leadership of Comrade Quadri, in five years, they have been able to complete three massive projects.

The three projects are; the construction of students hostel in Kwara State University, Kwara State; Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State; and now the newly commissioned 44 rooms hostel today which seeks to cater for the Students of Federal University of Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

They gave kudos to Comrade Quadri for his style of leadership that ensure full participation of every member and accountability in usage of funds.

In addition, three Branch Chairmen of the NEC; Comrade Adesola Ajayi from Allied Atlantic Distilleries Limited, Comrade Adekunle Ibrahim from Pharma Deko Plc and Comrade Dennis Oyiboka from Deli Foods Limited, each received 200,000 cash award each for outstanding leadership at their respective  state branch .

Members also received certificates of participation of the last training organized by FOBTOB in accordance with the tradition of the association of training and retraining members on regular basis.

Distinguished members at the meeting include; the National President, Comrade Quadri Olaleye; Deputy National President, Comrade Jimoh Oyibo; National Treasurer, Comrade Adebayo Aderogba; Vice President North Zone, Comrade Habib Bala Hussiani; Vice President West Zone, Comrade Adesanya Olubunmi; and National Internal Auditor, Comrade Naziru Musa Bichi;

Also; Trustee North Zone, Comrade Friday Garba; Trustee East Zone, Comrade Christopher Amadi; Trustee West Zone, Comrade Patrick Sule; National Ex-officio, Comrade Lanre Yusuff; National Ex-officio, Comrade Olivia Odunukwe; Acting General Secretary, Comrade Iyeye Peter; Deputy General Secretary, Comrade Jumoke Olademeji; Accountant, Comrade Tunde Adams and other Branch Chairpersons and Secretaries.
