African Union Commissioner, Amaechi, KayCee to attend first maiden Nigerian Women Virtual Summit

Prof. Sarah Anyang Agbor, African Union Commissioner for Education, Youth and Capacity Development, Human Resources, Science and Technology, Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amachi, Honorable Minister of Transportation, Hon. Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Honorable Minister of the Federal Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment, would be attending the 3-Day first ever Nigerian Women Business Virtual Summit(NWBS 2020).

The Summit, organized by the Association for Nigerian Women Business Network(ANWBN), a coalition of over fifty different women associate focused on business and career development of its members is slated to hold from September 29 th to October 1 st , 2020 is open to Nigerian Women across the globe.

The theme for the maiden edition of the Summit is “From Fear to Hope: Scaling Women Business Impact for a Decades of Action.” The event will feature a virtual exhibition, B2B workshop, the launch of the Women National Business Agenda, and Women Business Empowerment Fund.

The Commissioner, Prof. Sarah Anyang Agbor, who is among the key panelists, would be discussing on the topic: “Achieving balance participation of Women and men in political and public decisions making," while the Minister of Transportation, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi would be delivering his speech, themed: “Dilapidated and poor road network.”

Also, ACG KayCee Ekekezie, is expected to launch the Women National Business Agenda on the first day of the Summit.

On her part, the National Coordinator, ANWBN, Chief(Mrs.) Anita Nana Okuribido, in a chat with CEOAFRICA, said the Summit will unravel a whole lot of things towards ensuring that Nigerian women in Business rise up in facing the new normal that the whole world is faced with.
