COVID-19: Pogba to miss September’s Nations League matches

Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has tested positive for COVID-19 leading to the omission of his name from the France squad announcement today for next month’s Nations League matches against Sweden and Croatia.

The disclosure was made by the club’s coach, Didier Deschamps today.

Following the development, teenager Eduardo Camavinga was called upon to replace Pogba as he was called up for the first time alongside Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar and RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.
