Immanuel College of Theology and Christian Education, Samonda, Ibadan, yesterday 4th August, 2020 held their 2020 Graduation Ceremony at the school premises.

The guest speaker, Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, charged the graduating students to value the importance of ‘name’.

He said a good name is better than silver and gold.

“Names are so important in Africa culture and history, that is why when a child is born, his family takes a lot of energy to begin to talk about the name,” Bishop said.

He noted that every graduate must prepare their minds on the challenges that lie ahead, as they go into the ministerial assignment, urging them to embrace virtue as part of what they were taught in the college.

The cleric enjoined them to wake up from the call, as the day of excuse is gone. However, he welcome them to the club of intellectuals.

In this vain, the chairman Board of Governors to the institution, Bishop Sunday Aluko, while speaking with CEOAFRICA, advised the newly priest to continue the work of salvation as they are leaving the college.

Speaking on behalf of the graduates, the overall best students, Kingsley Alie, expressed their gratitude to God, equally thank the college for impacting into them and promised that the legacy will live on.
