Africa Union: July 31st Marked As African Women’s Day Celebration

African Union has designated July 31st as African Women’s Day.

The theme for this year’s celebration is “Role of the African Woman in Silencing the Guns: Enhancing Women’s Participation in Peacekeeping and Conflict Prevention in Africa”.

On that note, CEOAFRICA, an online media will be engaging different women of substance across Africa.

The event which will hold on Friday, 31st  July, 2020, at 10:00AM will be Live Streamed on www.ceoafrica.com or log on to www.youtube.com/CEOAFRICA

African Women’s Day was first celebrated on 31 July 1962 by the African Union after the First Pan-African Women’s Conference held in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
