Musician kidnapped, eye removed, 2 fingers cut off in Uganda

KAMPALA, Uganda -                                       Ugandan Firebase Entertainment, is mourning one of its crew member, who was reportedly kidnapped by unknown people while on his way to their studio on Sunday, July 21, 2019, was later found dumped with his eye plucked out and two fingers cut, local media, New Vision has reported.

The deceased, Michael Kalinda, popularly known as Ziggy Wyne, who was also a social media blogger reportedly went missing after he was allegedly abducted by unknown men.

According to the newspaper, a week later, he was found unconscious with several burns on his entire body inflicted using a hot object.

However, John Ssentamu, the manager of Firebase Entertainment, has confirmed that Ziggy Wyne was one of their members.

CEOAfrica gathered that Firebase Entertainment is owned by Ugandan main opposition Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, the Kyadondo South Member of Parliament, also known by the stage name Bobi Wine.
