FCT, Abuja -                        One of the political parties that dragged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, before the presidential election tribunal, The Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM),  has applied to withdraw its petition challenging the outcome of the last presidential election.

Our correspondent learnt that Aliyu Lemu, the lawyer to PDM, told the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on Wednesday that his client has instructed him to apply to withdraw the petition.

The lawyer then moved the application.
