Nigeria’s former Minister of Education and former World Bank Vice President, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili has commended the Managing Director of CEOAFRICA, Prince Cletus S. Ilobanafor and members of his team for their unflinching and fantastic roles in organizing the 2-Day International Pan-African conference in collaboration with the Chrisland University, Abeokuta.
The ex-Minister gave the commendation during her keynote speech presentation on the theme “Challenges of Growth and Sustainable Development in Africa”, a 2-Day International Pan-African conference.
Having kick-started on 24th-25th June, 2019 at the University auditorium in Abeokuta, the conference was aimed at providing an interdisciplinary platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, Civil Societies, students, Diplomats, CEOs and others under the Chairmanship of the former Liberian Vice President, Joseph Nyuma Boakai.
While acknowledging the efforts of the CEOAFRICA in conjunction with Chrisland University, Abeokuta for organizing the 2-Day Pan-African conference, the ex-Minister said “I acknowledged the fantastic role of the MD of CEOAFRICA, Prince Cletus S. Ilobanafor and members of his team for coordinating and collaborating with the Chrisland University to host this very important event’’
“You have really shown and proven to be a reputable online media platform in Nigeria to have facilitated this type of International Pan-African conference that provides solutions to the challenges of growth and sustainable development in Africa,’’ she said.
The CGSDA 2019 Conference was enlivened by the presence of national and international personalities like, the former Liberian Vice-President Joseph Nyuma Boakai; Prof. Charles Binam Bikoi, Executive Secretary, International Centre for Research and Documentation on African Traditions and Languages (CERDOTOLA); Delegates from Liberia, including Ministers, Commissioners, media personnel; former World Bank Vice President, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili; the Chancellor of Chrisland University, High Chief Dr. Wilfred Awosika (OON); the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola; Vice Chancellor, Crown University, Prof. Sir Bashir Aremu and others.
