Latest: Gov. Abiodun appoints ex-staff of GTBank as SSG, Amosun’s ex-aide as Chief of Staff

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state has appointed  the Chief Executive Officer of Superflux International Limited, Mr. Olatokunbo Joseph Talabi as the Secretary to the State Government.

The Governor also announced former deputy Chief of Staff to ex-governor Ibikunle Amosun, Shuaib Afolabi Salisu as his Chief of Staff.

The Governor disclosed this in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin on Saturday.

Abiodun said both appointments take immediate effect.

The statement reveals that the new SSG comes to the job with a rich private sector background as a business development professional, banker and entrepreneur.

According to the statement, the 57-year-old Talabi holds a 1987 Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos.

“He also trained at the Citibank School of Banking, Long Island, New York.

“A pioneer staff of the Guarantee Trust Bank where he worked in several executive positions, Mr Talabi also worked at The Nigerian Economist gaining insight on product performance, sales, marketing and financial management”.

The statement further read that the new Chief of Staff , Salisu is an award-winning information and communications expert and accomplished administrator.

Salisu had worked as deputy Chief of Staff to Amosun between 2011 and 2014.
