Again dozens of fighters from an armed group known as Mai-Mai, on Wednesday reportedly attacked the northeastern city of Butembo in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and engaged the security forces in a fight.

According to Al Jazeera, their target was an Ebola treatment centre.

This comes as the region experiences a violent uprising and armed groups try to turn efforts to fight Ebola into a political tool.
