Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has appointed Mrs. Wuraola Oduntan as its new general manager for Nigeria.

A statement by the company on Tuesday explained that the appointment took effect from July 1, 2014.

It explained that Oduntan, who is based in Lagos, would have overall responsibility for Etihad Airways’ operations in Nigeria and would take over from Mr. Maurice Phohleli, who was recently appointed as the Vice President, Africa Sub-Sahara and Indian Ocean for the airline.
