Following the reports circulating various media outlets that Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets has booked semi-final ticket and FIFA -17 World Cup place after their 1-0 win over Angola at ongoing CAF U-17 African Cup of Nations earlier on Wednesday , results from other group game has shown that the Eaglets needs at least a point from their last game against Uganda to do so.

Uganda defeated Tanzania 3-0 in the second Group A game , meaning Nigeria must pick at least one point against Uganda in the last game on Saturday.

Although Nigeria tops Group A with 6 points from 2 matches, but must not consent to a defeat by three goals margin when they face Uganda because both sides have plus two goals difference.

Third placed Angola are also still in the race in spite of the defeat they suffered in the hands of the Golden Eaglets.

They can stand still pick a semi-final place with a victory by at least three goals margin , depending on what happened between Nigeria and Uganda.
