The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed the rerun in Rivers state for April 13.

INEC commissioner for information and voter education, Festus Okoye, made the announcement at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday.

Okoye added that the announcement of results will be done on April 15 while issuance of certificate of return will be on April 19.

Recall that on March 10, INEC suspended all electoral processes in the state as a result of violence and widespread disruption of collation of results.
