The busy Trade Fair Complex has finally been reopened for business hours after traders were locked out without prior notice (read here).

Early this morning, when the traders who conduct business activities in the complex arrived for work, they realized the gate to the complex had been locked by the Lagos state government and they were not given a reason for this.

As the hours passed and the gates remained locked, traders began a peaceful protest, They carried placards and marched around the area, singing.

The gates of the complex were eventually opened in the afternoon and traders were able to resume their activities for the day.
