Zuhura Muro is currently a managing director and founding shareholder of Kazi Services Limited, a private business development services provider with special focus in recruitment, employees supply and management, payroll administration, management consultancy, training and organizational development. Mrs. Muro holds a Bachelor of Arts & Social Sciences from the University of Dares Salaam, Tanzania and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources.

She is also a shareholder and executive director of Arusha Modern Schools Limited, a private school in Arusha, Tanzania. Zuhura has more than 10 years experience in managing consulting teams tracing back to 1996, when she was the director of business development services of FAIDA consultancy firm under the Netherlands Development Organization. Before founding her own consulting firm, she served as Head of Human Resources at Zain Tanzania Limited from 2001 to May 2007. She also served as a Director of Nation Media Group since September 2, 2010 until May 30, 2014.

Zuhura is one of the founding trustees of ALI-EA Foundation and is currently serving as its board secretary. She also serves as a board member of Mwananchi Communication Limited, and board secretary of Arusha Modern Schools Limited and Taslim Education Services Limited. She lives and works in Dar es Salaam. She is a Fellow of the inaugural class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-East Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
