Nigerians have reacted to the announcement by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declaring the just-concluded governorship election in Osun State inconclusive.

This decision folowed cancellation of votes in Orolu Local Government, Ife South LG, Ife North LG and Osogbo LG resulting, to the loss of 3498.

However, Nigerians on social media have expressed divergent opinions over the announcement.

Here are some comments gathered by DAILY POST:

@Iamfemifactor “Inconclusive because it didnt dance to the tune INEC wanted to play… Nigeria and politics.”

@EletrickShark “INEC should not make the mistake of handing over Osun to APC the people have spoken they want APC out.”

@Samie_keny “APC and INEC are at it again. Elections inconclusive in what sense. They have given room for “Jagaban” and his allies to loot the rerun.”
