The president historical society of Nigeria (HSN), Professor Christopher B.N Ogbogbo will be delivering an inaugural lecture on the topic “IN DEFENCE OF TRADITION” on Thursday, 6th September, 2018 at the Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan by 5pm.
The erudite professor and the current head of department of History, faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, would on this day talk extensively in respect to the topic and also throw light on the need for people to defend their traditions and not watch it die in this present era.
Dignitaries to grace the occasion include the Vice chancellor, University of Ibadan, professor A.I Olayinka, who is also the chairman of the occasion, historians from all over the country, faculty and departmental heads of University of Ibadan, among others.
