First Female Pharmacist VC, Professor Babalola speaks at CAIC valedictory service

Christ Ambassadors International College (CAIC), Oluyole estate Ibadan on Sunday hosted the First Female Pharmacist VC and the current Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola at its Valedictory service where she spoke on the theme of the graduating students “The Ineffable”

Professor Babalola lauded the visioner, teachers, staff and parents of the graduating students who have put in so many efforts on imparting in the students.

Citing three 3 stories of excellent achievements of various academics from different disciplines, she encouraged the successful students to expand their space and wear an image of excellence.

In the same vein, Professor Chinedum urged the students to emulate Joseph (Genesis 37-41) who affected nations during his lifetime. “Joseph had a dream and pursued that dream, he was hardworking, godly, people-centered person and most importantly, Joseph had a global mentality. He confronted a local problem with global approach.  He approached famine in Egypt with global solution” she said.

The Chrisland University Vice Chancellor however at the end of her speech highlighted some tips on image of excellence and ineffable which the students should imbibe for uttermost success

  • Excellence is not a skill. It is an attitude – (Ralph Marston)

  • Do the ineffable in your life.
  • Do the wonderful
  • Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better – Pat Riley. Keep striving

  • Make sure you don’t stop here, move on and improve daily
  • Excellence is being a change agent
  • Be a change agent today.
  • Think of a project that can make impact in Nigeria
  • Study the life of impactful leaders
  • Can we affect lives of IDPS in North or south of Nigeria?
  • Pray to God for the spirit of excellence and He will give you.

Dignitaries who graced the occasion include the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Akeredolu SAN, first lady of Oyo State, Florence Ajimobi, erstwhile first lady of Oyo state, Mrs. Akala and the proprietress of the school, Evangelist Mrs. Lilian Bademosi.
