A female governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Bolanle Aliyu has paid a courtesy visit to the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, to seek his blessing towards her 2019 governorship ambition.

Aliyu who had earlier declared her interest to run for the 2019 governorship election asked for the support of Oba Adeyemi, in her political ambition.

Oba Adeyemi blessed and urged Aliyu not to be intimidated to do the wrong thing when she becomes the governor of Oyo State.

Also, Olori Ramat Adeyemi, who expressed her joy, said the time for a change of mind-set had come for women, adding that taking the back seat in politics had come to an end.
