Hon. Sugar while speaking with CEOAfrica at the event said ‘‘Ilu Elesu/Igbo-Elerin community health care was a pledge I made two years ago, and I thank God I am able to fulfil the pledge today. The essence of the health care is to see to the medical needs of the people in this community and neighbouring villages for free. I have decided to finance this health centre by God’s grace. Already, we have the scanning machine, modern Thermometer machine, Sphygmomanometer (BP meter) and adequate drugs to be distributed for free. Substantial amount of money has been given to those who will get more equipment for the health centre. Also, the centre will serve as a means of employment. We have in mind to employ 11 staff and today, two ladies who are from this community and have been certified as auxiliary nurse told me they will like to work at the health centre, so we have 2 employed nurses already. ’’

Fielding questions on what inspired him to gift the cars to the traditional rulers, Hon. Sugar said ‘‘the car is just a small gift that will help the easy movement of the traditional rulers. Before, our traditional rulers were entitled to some benefits but, the western world has changed everything. They don’t enjoy those little benefits again. So, this is just to motivate them to continue to do well. Moreover, the cars are also for community purpose, if the Baale needs to attend to an emergency of a commuter, the Baale’s car would be appropriate.’’
