In preparation to the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Annual National Conference tagged “Oluyole2018”, the National President, Pharmacist Ahmed Yakasai on Wednesday June 20, paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadan land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Ajeogunguniso 1.
Pharmacist Ahmed Yakasai in his address said the visitation is to inform and invite the Olubadan of Ibadan land to the forthcoming National Conference which will hold at the International Conference Centre of University of Ibadan between 29th of October – November 3rd, 2018 to mark the 91st anniversary of PSN in Nigeria.
Yakasai further disclosed that it is the tradition of PSN to pay homage to the monarch in charge of any state in which they are to hold their meeting.

His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji in his response, appreciated the PSN President for visiting his palace. He gave his blessings for the upcoming Conference “Oluyole2018” and promised to attend the meeting.

Pharm.Yakasai while speaking with CEOAfrica revealed that all is set for the “oluyole 2018” as he has inspected the venue for the Conference, some hotels and he is fully satisfied.
He further explained that the special guest of honour, Nigeria Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, the keynote speaker, Pharmacist Claire Omatseye,Chief host, The executive governor of Oyo State,Sen.Abiola Ajimobi,the special guest, Minister of Health,Prof. Isaac Adewole ad Chairman of Senate Committee on health,Dr.Tejouso will all attend the 91st annual Conference.
Also he said Pharmacists from various states in Nigeria and diaspora will storm Ibadan for the Conference as there will be exhibitions, scientific, business, technical paper presentations, round table discussions, social activities and election of new executive council members.
However, Yakasai advised Nigerian Youths to desist from the intake of illegal drugs because the future of Nigeria lies in their hands.

At the end of the meeting, PSN presented gifts items to the monarch which include; First aid box, a plague and a Sphygmomanometer (BP meter).
