“PDP will be in charge of Oyo state, come 2019”- Asiwaju Adekola

The State Youth leader of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Asiwaju Adekola has revealed that PDP will be at the helm of affairs of Oyo State come 2019.

Comrade Adekola disclosed this while speaking with CEOAfrica during the celebration of the just concluded Ibarapa East State Constituency bye-election.

He said “People are tired of APC misrule; there is poverty in the land, PDP have seen all these and we are ready to take over. The Ibarapa bye-election is just a sample of what will happen in 2019.In fact, Oyo State awaits PDP governance.”

Adekola dedicated the party’s victory to the Almighty God and to the State leader, Senator Adewolu Ladoja for his tremendous roles in ensuring the success of the election.

“Thank God for the success of the bye-election. The victory is dedicated to the Almighty God and to the State leadership of PDP, Sen. Adewolu Ladoja .We are his soldiers, “Wolu Leads, We follow” and come 2019, we will be in charge of Oyo state because leadership is a collective efforts, we are working assiduously and by God’s grace, we will get there”

He also lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for his assent and for signing the Age Reduction Bill into law (Not Too Young To Run Bill) and he explained that the bill has given the Nigerian Youths a sense of belonging in the country.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has done a very good thing by signing the Not Too Young To Run Bill and I am very glad that it happened first in Oyo State PDP, we just produced a 31-year-old lawmaker and many are still coming”
