“Nigerian Youths are not lazy” -Hon.Sugar counters President Buhari’s statement(Video)

Honorable member representing Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning, Hon Olatoye Temitope Sugar during a visit to his free weekly medical health services at Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) headquarters in Ibadan on Saturday 21st of April opposed the trending statement made by the president Buhari  that Nigerian youths are lazy.

 Hon.Sugar while speaking with CEOAfrica correspondent, said ‘‘Nigerian youths are not lazy, they are educated and the future of this country lies with them, although I have not read the whole speech of president Buhri to have concrete evidence, not wisthanding, I am sure beyond reasonable doubt that, Nigerian Youths are hardworking and zealous”.

However, he condemned the invasion of the senate plenary and the carting away of the mace. He said it is a threat to national security and the federal government. He encouraged the security agencies to exhibit professionalism in ensuring safety in the nation.

OYO 2019 ELECTION: Hon.Sugar officially declares his intention

Meanwhile, Honorable Olatoye Temitope Sugar has officially disclosed his intention to run for Oyo state 2019 gubernatorial election.

He made this known last week while reacting to Buhari’s bid for second term in office. Hon. Sugar said it is a usual practice in Nigerian politics to run for second term so President Buhari should not be condemned as he is also going for  Oyo state governorship position by 2019.  “It is an accepted norm in Nigerian Politics to seek for re-election into political office, so President Buhari should not be criticized. He is my boss and I cannot tell him to step down for whatever reason. Everyone has the right to vote and to be voted for, I am also contesting for the 2019 gubernatorial election and no one can stop me and likewise, President Buhari is unstoppable”

He encouraged the masses to register and collect their PVCs as it is one of their fundamental human rights.
