A man and woman who met each other on Twitter have taken their relationship to another level as they recently got married.

These are photos from the wedding of a Hausa couple who tied the knot in Abuja recently.

 The couple identified as Fatima Abubakar Umar and Salim Abdulqadir Ahmed met on Twitter and their story was shared online by the new bride.

 The young got married over the weekend in Abuja some five years after they met on Twitter and their story has gotten social media users talking.

 Many have expressed the hope that they too can meet their partners via Twitter someday.
