DSP.Olabisi Ilobanafor PPRO Oyo State Police Command

OYO state Police Command has said that the much talked fish turn human in Ibadan was a mere octopus.

The oyo state Police Public Relations Officer DSP Olabisi Ilobanafor in a telephone interiew with CEOafrica said the claim that the fish turned into a human like was a mere ruse.

DSP Ilobanafor declared that the fish seller told the police that there was never a time she claimed that the said fish turned to a human being but she only raised alarm of discovering a strange figure among the pack she purchase from a fish depot in Ibadan.

The Oyo state Police PPRO noted that that Ramot Imam the fish seller's alarm might not be unconnected with her level of exposure adding, there is no way an octopus can be likened to a human being.

On the alleged threat to the life of the fish seller, DSP Ilobanafor disclosed that the state Police Commissioner Mohammed Idanbawa has ordered that security be beefed up around the woman .

She declared that anyone caught threatening or attempting to attack Ramot Imam the fish seller over the fish turned human issue will be arrested and prosecuted by the state police command.

 

She however call on the resident in the state to desist from carry rumours capable of distorting peace in the state while advising the people that ignorance should not be used to bridge public peace in the state.

 

The Police PRO added that Nigerians should disregard the said picture displayed on some social media referring to the fish Ramot Imam  found in her carton of fish in Ibadan rather realize that she found an octopus.
