At the ongoing 60th anniversary celebration of the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security in Nigeria, Senator Abubakar Kyari has commissioned unprecedented projects at the college.

The commissioning of the laudable projects by the Dr. Adekoya Olatunde Owosibo’s led administration in the institution, took place at the opening session of the anniversary on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Represented by the South West Zonal Director of Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security  Mrs Olayinka Akeredolu, the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security in Nigeria while commissioning the projects, commended the Provost of the College, Dr. Owosibo for the massive constructions done on the campus towards the pursuit of the vision of the school, and the progress of agricultural production in Nigeria.

Some of the commissioned projects include the College Administrative block, College Medical Center, New Staff Office Building, Diamond Jubilee Classroom Complex, and Farmhouse at Bakatari Entrepreneurship Center.

The Director General of Poultry Association of Nigeria, Mr. Onallo Akpa who is the anniversary guest speaker, was also part of the commissioning team. The anniversary exhibition was also declared open by the representative of the Minister of Agric.
