Two Bus Rapid Transport, known as BRT, were involved in a head-on collision on Tuesday in the Dopemu area of Lagos.

This was disclosed by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, in a video which was shared on its official X handle.

According to the agency, the incident had led to traffic congestion along the axis.

However, no person has been reported dead but several persons were injured.

“Effect of this occurrence on traffic is minimal; however, our officers, as well as all other concerned authorities, including men of the Nigerian Police Force, are on the ground there doing the needful”, LASTMA stated.

When filing this report, LASTMA officials were seen at the accident venue transloading the content of one of the trailers.
