CPAN Congratulates Chrisland University Vice Chancellor for bagging IPAN Fellowship Award

The body of Clinical Pharmacists Association Of Nigeria (CPAN), has written to congratulate Prof.Mrs Chinedum Peace Babalola FAS, FAAS, FPSN, MCPAN, FNAPHARM, FPCPHARM, FIPAN on her receipt of the Fellowship of Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria (FIPAN) award.

This was made known in a press release signed by the National Secretary of the association, Dr Moteehat Bukkie Olu-Lawal PharmD, MCPAN, FPCPharm, MPH and the National Chairman, Dr Joseph Madu PharmD, MCPAN, DCPharm, FPCPharm, FPSN, KSM*

The press release reads in part, "On behalf of the prestigious Clinical Pharmacists Association Of Nigeria (CPAN), we wish to congratulate Prof.Mrs Chinedum Peace Babalola FAS, FAAS, FPSN, MCPAN, FNAPHARM, FPCPHARM, FIPAN on her receipt of an award of the Fellowship of Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria ( FIPAN)."

The release went further to commend her as a colossus in the pharmacy profession which they say is making the association proud of her endeavour.

"On this occasion, the leadership of CPAN is proud to celebrate with Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola on the addition of yet another feather to her already heavy cap as a fellow of the institute of public analysts of Nigeria ( FIPAN). Once again, congratulations to our dear Amazon. You keep making us proud." it further reads.

Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola is the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State- Nigeria.

An alumna of the great University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife). She is a recipient of over 25 fellowship awards including that of the Nigerian Academy Of Science (FAS) and of the African Academy Of Science ( FAAS ), as well as the first Nigerian female Pharmacist to rise to the rank of a Vice Chancellor.

This clinical Pharmacist and woman of many firsts delivered the keynote address at the first CPAN public lecture in year 2022 during the World Pharmacists Day , with the title: Pharmacists United In Action For A Healthier World; Nigeria Clinical Pharmacy Specialty Groups In Focus.

Prof. was also honoured with an *award of honour of CPAN* during the 1st annual international conference of CPAN held in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

Prof. Babalola made the list as one of the 100 most inspiring women in Nigeria, in year 2021 by Bella Naija.com.

She was also selected as one of the 10 most influential female scientists in Nigeria. She won Silverbird TV one of 16 most outstanding women; still counting.
