The Nigerian University Commission has granted full accreditation of courses to Chrisland University. This was made known by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Peace Babalola during an interactive session with CEOAfrica.

Recall that all the accreditation Chrisland University has done under the leadership of Professor Chinedum Babalola , the university has always received 100% accreditation .

The Professor of Pharmacy who was highly elated about this development described it as another glowing feat for Chrisland University. “It is 100% accreditation again. Our 6/6 has arrived. Chrisland University is indeed a global space of academic excellence to be proud of.”

When asked how the feat was achieved, Prof. Babalola resorted; “It did not come easy or cheap. It is a ringing testimony that dedication to hard work pays. That is one of the core values of Chrisland University. We left no stone unturned, working round the clock to achieve this.”

She went further to sincerely congratulate and appreciate the Chancellor, High Chief Dr Mrs Awosika, and the Board of Trustees (BOT) for “practically emptying their pockets to support the university. You left no stone unturned in providing the resources we needed to conduct this accreditation successfully. We thank you for tolerating our long requests and stretches. It has ended in praise.”

She assured the Board of Trustees (BOT) members that given all these opportunities, the outcome would be greater academic excellence which the school is already on track.

Chrisland University is one of  the privately owned Universities with full accreditation of  all their courses;  adding  new six courses accredited, including: Medical Laboratory Science - 89.4% full accreditation, Physiotherapy -78.2% full accreditation,

Cyber Security – 87.0% full accreditation

Software Engineering -89.6% full accreditation

Industrial Chemistry -86.0% full accreditation

Mathematics- 97.5% full accreditation

The quality assurance department of NUC, the arm saddles with the responsibility of accreditation of courses in universities has stipulated Benchmark Minimum Academic Standard for accrediting courses. This includes; adequate teaching materials – equipment, books, journals, etc; qualified faculty staff, serene learning environment. This is necessary to ensure quality and competent graduates in their field of specialisations.
